Sat May 18, 2013
Curious. What is China's agenda in brokering a middle east peace? China only gets involved when it will benefit China.
Expect millions of electric car charging stations by 2020
Fri May 17, 2013
Building coal fired utilities that scrub the emissions from the plants that produce electricity is only one consideration. The other consideration is what do you do with the fine talcum like black powder that is a by product of burning coal. I saw a 60 minute segment that showed an area …
Why sign up for a one-way Mars trip? Three applicants explain the appeal

For most people life is too precious to be casually thrown away. $75. A ship of fools.
No. 1 swimming pool problem? It's number two!
Thu May 16, 2013
I had had the unfortunate experience of seeing a kid grab his suit and shake loose a "formed fecal incident". I was swimming in the lap lanes when this happened. It was not an accident but intentional. When I confronted him and the lifeguard it was sort of "ok". Nothing happened.

It's time to get serious about going to Mars, NASA says
Tue May 7, 2013
I would support an effort to go to Mars, but we have done very little to expand our venture into space since the Lunar attempts. The whole effort for space exploration seems to have dwindled. We did build the the space station with help, but we have no way on our own to get there.

Circumcision benefits outweigh risks, but parents should choose, pediatricians say
No. It amounts to mutilation and any health gains aren't enough.
so you are ok with putting an infant through the possibility of pain? Maybe your husband experience was the exception and not the norm.
The "medical argument" for circumcision does not seem to support itself. If you search for "male stds" and view the pics you will see that most std infections presented are with a circumcised penis. Does this mean that males who are uncircumcised are less likely to be infected? No.
maybe you should leave the primates alone and seek human companionship.
